Delayed Discharge

Diabetes

Fall Detector - 400 older people fall every day in Ireland. Emergency Response's Fall Detector can provide valuable peace of mind by automatically detecting serious falls and raising an alert to the monitoring centre or designated care.

Additional sensors include

Domestic Violence

Almost 1 in 5 Irish Women have experienced domestic violence. In a society that is changing and evolving our telecare sensors can assist those who are in an abusive relationship or for those who have moved on to start new lives for themselves and their children.

Suggested telecare sensors include:

  • Bogus Caller Button / Panic Button
  • PIR (Movement Detector)
  • Zoning Button - Allows users of alarm functionality to zone certain areas of their property e.g. at night. This means that users will not need to 'beat' the zoning delay time before the system arms therefore users can take as much time as required without needing to panic.
  • Arm/Disarm Trigger - Allows users to protect their property by arming the intruder functionality on vacating their dwelling, and then disarming it in the same way as they re-enter.

Care of The Elderly

Key Facts
According to the 2006 Census there are 160,917 carers in Ireland, an increase of 8% from the previous Census in 2002. The majority of carers are in the 45-54 age bracket making up 28% of all carers. Astonishingly there are 11% of carers aged 65+.

The following suggested solutions may assist the elderly who enjoy their independence and wish to continue to live that way.
