Alistair Graham People First, Architect & Psychologist Professor Bryan Lawson and David Bolton former senior manager of statutory health and social care services in Northern Ireland have undertaken a study into the benefits of telecare for older people choosing to remain at home. Emergency Response provided the equipment to Clients for the Duration of the study
Predominant findings of the report:
Telecare is a substantive component of home care services.
Telecare services need to be able to address a wide range of user requirements in terms of usage.
Telecare is considered by users and carers to be easy to use and is well received.
